A mexican company with a team representing more than 40 years of experience, Bonarum is in continious growth and markets pharmaceutical products, wound care products, auxiliaries for diagnostic & imaging and thermoformed packaging materials.

Company beginnings dates back to 1967 with the incorporation of Bonaplast, S.A. de C.V., a company that began its operations with the manufacturing of thermoformed packaging material for the pharmaceutical industry.

On april 1998, Bonaplast begins an ambitious expansion plan to increase the scope of its activities by offering contract manufacturing or outsourced "formulation, filling and conditioning" services, mainly for semi-solid pharmaceutical forms. Therefore, special dedicated facilities were designed, built and equipped in accordance to the Official Mexican Standards (NOMs), regulations and applicable laws established by the Secretariat of Health.

In the year 2000, the management team implemented an additional expansion program to enhance our manufacturing with more pharmaceutical dosage forms, like oral solutions and injectables.

By the end of 2001, a new facility was built and equipped to manufacture corticosteroids in the following dosage forms: ovules, suppositories, ointments and gels.

Due to all the above mentioned, in 2005 with the incorporation of Bonarum, S.A. de C.V. as the head of the group, a new vision was born. A vision to reach in a more direct, possitive and important manner the life of patients, physicians and society.

Bonarum Pharma: One of our key divisions to manufacture pharmaceutical products, hormonal and non hormonal drugs, in two independent facilities. Additionally and as a way of collaboration, we extend our manufacturing capacity by offering Contract Manufacturing Services to national, multi-national and International Pharmaceutical companies.

Bonarum Wound Care: Retelast® was the first tubular elastic bandage in México. Since 1976 a tradition commenced, so nowadays our trademark and product enjoys recognition among the medical community for its quality within wound care products.

Bonarum Diagnostic & Imaging: Since 2003, a brand new division for the manufacturing of nonionic, low-osmolar, iodinated contrast agent. Solucont® is an aid in imaging to help diagnose certain disorders of the brain, heart, blood vessels and nervous system.

Bonaplast Thermoformed Packaging Material: For the production of containers for ovules and suppositories, and trays as secondary packaging. Both type of products are to satisfay internal and customers' needs from the Food, Cosmetic, Medical and Bio-Pharmaceutical industries.
